Katonah REALTOR Harding Mason appointed as NYSAR Lower Hudson Region vice president
Albany – February 6, 2009 – Harding Mason, GRI, of Katonah took the oath of office Monday, Feb. 2, as the 2009 Lower Hudson Region vice president of the New York State Association of REALTORS (NYSAR) during the association’s inauguration ceremony, held in conjunction with its Business Meetings at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, NY.
Mason, a REALTOR for 20 years, is an associate broker with Houlihan Lawrence in Katonah. He is a top producing agent for the firm and is an award-winning broker.
He is a member of the Westchester County Board of REALTORS (WCBR), where in 2008 and 2007, he served as president. Mason has served on numerous local board committees including executive, finance, legislation and communications. In addition, he served for many years on the Board of Directors of the Westchester Putnam Multiple Listing Service.
Mason is an active member of NYSAR, serving on the following committees in 2009: executive, small business health care, REALTORS Political Action Committee (RPAC), emerging issues, organizational planning, legislative steering, MLS issues and policy and legislative policy forum. In addition, he is an RPAC Trustee and has been a delegate to the National Association of REALTORS.
Active in his local communities of Bedford, Katonah, Lewisboro and North Salem, Mason has a keen interest in antique and historical properties and is a long-time member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, a “private, nonprofit organization dedicated to saving historic places and revitalizing America’s communities.”
