Albany – February 6, 2009 – Nina Amadon, CBR, CRS, GRI, PMN, of Loudonville took the oath of office Monday, Feb. 2, as the 2009 Capital Region vice president of the New York State Association of REALTORS (NYSAR) during the association’s inauguration ceremony, held in conjunction with its Business Meetings at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, NY.
Amadon, a REALTOR for 22 years, is the broker/manager of Weichert REALTORS Northeast Group in Loudonville, NY.
She is an active member of the Greater Capital Association of REALTORS (GCAR), and has served as a director since 2000. In 2005 she was named the local association’s REALTOR of the Year and Amadon currently serves on numerous committees including professional standards, education and member services.
At the state level, Amadon serves on the following committees: professional standards, legislative policy forum, executive, education management and organizational planning. In addition, she has served as a director for NYSAR and volunteered as part of the 2001 REALTOR Housing Relief Team.
Amadon served as the 2007 vice chair of the WCR Leadership Development Strategic Forum and was the WCR liaison to the National Association of REALTORS’ Professional Standards Committee. She served as NYS WCR president in 2001 and as a regional vice president in 2005.
